Interested in becoming a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity? 

Please read ALL information below regarding fraternity member qualifications.

FAQ

    • Alumni Membership in Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity is limited to professional men that have been granted a baccalaureate degree or other degree by a recognized college or university with proof. Potential members must provide a copy of their bachelor's degree or Official Transcripts.

    • Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity candidates must not currently be a member of or have previously been a member of another intercollegiate fraternity other than an honorary or professional fraternity.

    • Each Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity membership candidate must apply to a chapter in the respective region based on the terms and conditions outlined in the Fraternity's membership intake and development process.

  • Candidates must submit the following documents:

    • Original Copy of Birth Certificate

    • Three letters of recommendation; one from a financial member.

    • Letter of Interest

    • Professional Resume

    • Each application fee is $200.

    • To maintain an active membership, a yearly membership fee of $330 is due on December 31st each year. This fee is subject to change as necessary. Failure to pay or communicate with the Chapter officers will result in the suspension of membership privileges.

We, therefore, seek men who will promote and extend the policies and programs of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.  The Fraternity, in return, is a massive network through which individuals can grow and develop personally and professionally.  Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. has two general membership classifications: collegiate and alumni.

We encourage interested individuals to participate in our monthly events and get to know the Chapter Brothers before applying for membership.
